Due to EU regulations, batteries are not shipped fully charged to 100% capacity. After installing the battery, it is important to first perform an SMC reset of the MacBook's multi-controller and then complete one full charging and discharging cycle for calibration and proper operation of the new battery. If the battery does not work immediately upon first startup, please leave the MacBook on the original charger for at least 30 minutes after the SMC reset.

Note: The package also includes tools - all screwdrivers for both opening the MacBook and replacing the battery, but this replacement requires professional installation.
