If you need to dispose of old appliances or batteries, you can hand them over through the publicly available REMA collection network, which is intended for recycling.
More information can be found on their website: REMA

If you have any questions or need advice, you can use the free Smart Recycling hotline at 800 976 679.

Recycling is important not only for electrical appliances but also for batteries and accumulators. These products contain many recyclable metals, such as zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium, or lead. However, some substances contained in them can be dangerous to the environment and human health, such as mercury, lead, and cadmium. By handing over batteries and electrical appliances for recycling, you contribute to material recycling, save primary raw material resources, and protect the environment from improper handling.

Unused batteries that are not handed over for recycling can be dangerous and even cause fires, especially lithium-containing batteries. Therefore, it is important to hand over used batteries for recycling as soon as possible to prevent possible risks.
