Battery Cell for Apple iPhone 13 Mini 2406mAh (CoB)
Battery Cell for Apple iPhone 13 Mini 2406mAh (CoB)

Replacement battery cell without flex cable labeled CoB (cobalt battery), designed for Apple brand phones.

This battery cell is intended for soldering the flex cable from the original battery, so the phone will not display warnings about a non-original battery.

The quality of batteries can significantly affect the performance and lifespan of devices. Batteries marked with the designation (CoB) - Cobalt Battery - are characterized by a high cobalt content.
Why is cobalt content important? Cobalt is a key element in the production of lithium-ion batteries, which are the primary source of energy in many modern devices. Higher cobalt content in batteries brings higher energy density and improves overall battery performance. By using batteries with a high cobalt content, we ensure not only the long-term performance of your devices but also increase their lifespan and reliability. With this quality, you can rely on our products to fully meet your needs and expectations.

Due to EU regulations, batteries are not shipped fully charged to 100% capacity. After installing the battery, it is important to first complete one full charge and discharge cycle for calibration and proper functioning of the new battery.

This is a standalone battery cell intended for professional repair with the rewiring/re-soldering of the original electronics!

• For model: iPhone 13 Mini

Update FIX for iOS version 17.4

After updating to version 17.4, it is necessary to use the 3U Tools program to set the battery capacity to 100% and the cycle count to 0.

Download the 3U Tools program here.
*It has not been possible to verify how the battery capacity percentage will decrease over time; once we have tested it for a sufficient period, we will update this information.

The articles for iPhone 11 and newer still require the use of the TAG-ON flex.

*This guide also works on older versions of iOS.

  1. Back up the phone's memory to the computer; in the new process, it is necessary to Flash the system via 3U Tools and then restore the data.
  2. Set the original battery (or a battery with the original BMS flex) to 100% capacity and reduce the cycle count to 0 using the TAG-ON Flex programmer.
  3. Thoroughly rewire the original flex to the new cell and permanently attach the Tag-On Flex.
  4. Insert a non-original battery into the phone and turn it on to trigger the message about a non-original battery in settings - battery - battery condition and charging.
  5. Turn off the device and remove the non-original battery; insert the rewired cell with the original BMS flex and the Tag-on Flex with adjusted capacity and cycle count.
  6. Connect the phone via a cable to 3U Tools, download iOS 17.4, and select Quick Flash Mode, download the iOS version 17.4 and check the option Fix battery health during Flash, then click the blue Flash button (see image).
  7. After installation, activate the phone and check in settings - battery - battery condition and charging.
  8. Done, you can now restore the backup from step 1.
