For proper battery function, always thoroughly clean any debris from the laptop. To remove crumbs and dust, we recommend using compressed air. For easier removal of the original battery and adhesive residue, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol.

If the battery does not work immediately upon first startup, please leave the device connected to the original charger for at least 30 minutes after the SMC reset.

If you need to dispose of old appliances or batteries, you can hand them over through the publicly available REMA collection network, which is intended for recycling.
More information can be found on their website: REMA

If you have any questions or need advice, you can use the toll-free Smart Recycling hotline at 800 976 679.

Recycling is important not only for electrical appliances but also for batteries and accumulators. These products contain many recyclable metals, such as zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium, or lead. However, some substances contained in them can be hazardous to the environment and human health, such as mercury, lead, and cadmium. By handing over batteries and electrical appliances for recycling, you contribute to material recycling, conserve primary raw material resources, and protect the environment from improper disposal.

Unused batteries that are not recycled can be dangerous and even cause a fire, especially lithium-containing batteries. Therefore, it is important to hand over used batteries for recycling as soon as possible to prevent potential risks.
