The package also includes tools necessary for battery replacement, as well as special screwdrivers needed for the replacement process. If it's an adhesive battery, adhesive strips will be included with the product. This part requires professional installation.

Installation Tips:
For the battery to function correctly, always thoroughly remove any dirt from the laptop. To remove crumbs and dust, we recommend using compressed air. For easier removal of the original battery and adhesive residue, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol.

Due to EU regulations, batteries are not shipped fully charged to 100% capacity. After installing the battery, it's important to first perform an SMC reset of the motherboard's charging and then complete one full charging and discharging cycle for calibration and proper functioning of the new battery.

If the battery does not work immediately upon first startup, please leave the device connected to the original charger for at least 30 minutes after the SMC reset.

If you have any questions or need advice, you can use the free Smart Recycling hotline at 800 976 679.

Recycling is important not only for electrical equipment but also for batteries and accumulators. These products contain many recyclable metals, such as zinc, iron, manganese, nickel, cadmium, or lead. However, some substances contained in them can be hazardous to the environment and human health, such as mercury, lead, and cadmium. By handing over batteries and electrical equipment to the take-back point, you contribute to material recycling, conserve primary sources of raw materials, and protect the environment from improper handling.

Unused batteries that are not recycled can be dangerous and even cause a fire, especially lithium-containing batteries. Therefore, it is important to hand over used batteries for recycling as soon as possible to prevent possible risks.
